NetScaler Web App Firewall (WAF) announces signature updates that you can download and apply on your appliance. When you detect a security attack, you will receive an email notification about the new signature update. You can download the signature and apply it on your appliance.

How to receive signature alert notification

This article explains how to subscribe to RSS feeds to receive notifications for new signature updates. Once subscribed, you receive regular RSS feeds whenever new signatures are available for download.

Note:

To get updates about Web App Firewall signatures, you must configure the signature auto-update feature. For more information, see Signature Auto Update topic.

To get updates about new bot signatures, you must configure the bot signature auto-update feature. For more information, see Bot Signature Auto Update topic.

To subscribe to RSS feeds for new signature updates, follow the steps given below:

Open the Signature alert article document history topic on a web browser.
On the top right of the page, click the RSS button and copy the RSS feed URL.
Add the copied RSS feed URL to a desired RSS feed reader.
