Release Notes for Citrix ADM 13.0-91.12 Release

This release notes document describes the enhancements and changes, fixed and known issues that exist for the Citrix ADM release Build 13.0-91.12.

The issues that are addressed in Build 13.0-91.12.

Analytics

  • The Citrix ADM disk space gets filled with crash files at regular intervals. As a result, Citrix ADM stops to respond.

  • Challenge based authentication for Citrix ADM login is failing for external TACACS authentication servers.

  • In Infrastructure > Upgrade Jobs, when you select a completed job that has the pre-upgrade or post-upgrade script file name with special characters and then download the output scripts from the Select Action list, the File not found error message is displayed.

  • In Citrix ADM GUI, when you annotate a Citrix ADC HA pair from Infrastructure > Instances Dashboard > Citrix ADC> Select Action > Annotate, the annotation is saved only for the Citrix ADC primary instance. After an HA failover, the new primary Citrix ADC instance does not display the annotation.

  • When you upgrade Citrix ADM from version 12.X to version 13.X, you cannot access the GUI.

Provisioning

  • Citrix ADM GUI does not load after a reboot. This issue occurs because of Control Center service.

    With this fix, the Control Center service functionality has been disabled and this issue is resolved.

Analytics

  • When you enable HDX Insight, the mas_afdecoder process stops responding and fails generating HDX analytics.

Infrastructure

  • When you upgrade an ADC instance by using ADM maintenance jobs, after the instance restarts, under the Citrix ADC instance page, the upgraded ADC image version does not appear. The GUI still shows the old image version.

Management and Monitoring

  • After upgrading from Citrix ADM 12.1 release to 13.1 release, a Not Authorized" error is displayed on the Citrix ADM GUI when you enable or disable the virtual servers in the Infrastructure > Network Functions page.

  • When you navigate to Infrastructure > License Settings, select all the expired licenses and then click on the Delete button to delete all the expired pooled licenses, all the pooled license expiry events are also cleared automatically.

  • ADM HA primary IP does not respond to SNMP GET requests.

  • In Citrix ADM, when you enable Perform Audit on receiving netScalerConfigChange event, ADM polls the ADC instances for every configuration change. However, if there are multiple changes in the ADC configuration at the same time, the configuration audit polling fails.   • In ADM HA pair, the database status observed to be in Down status and not synchronizing even after trying with Sync Database option in the GUI for several times.

  • If the mas_hb_monit.conf file is corrupted, all the processes in ADM do not start. As a result, the ADM start-up fails.

    With this fix, if the mas_hb_monit.conf file is corrupt, all the processes will now search for the clean file in all the directories and recover it before accessing the file.
