NetScaler VPX™ 15.1 Tech Preview release summary
The NetScaler VPX 15.1 rollout started with on-premises hypervisors and now expands to public clouds. This Tech Preview build supports deployment on both on-premises hypervisors and public cloud platforms.

On cloud instance sizes that include a local temporary (ephemeral) disk, upgrading a NetScaler VPX instance from release 14.1 to 15.1 might intermittently leave NetScaler unreachable after the upgrade. This issue affects only instance sizes with a local temporary disk. As a workaround, do one of the following:
- Use an instance size that does not include a local temporary disk for the upgrade.
- Take a snapshot of the VM before you begin the upgrade so that you can restore the appliance if it does not come back online.

Azure high availability (HA) solution templates do not correctly configure NetScaler 15.1 deployments, causing the HA pair formation to fail automatically after the deployment. As a workaround, deploy the latest 14.1 version by using the existing Azure templates, and then upgrade to 15.1 by using the upgrade bundle available on the NetScaler downloads page.
