StyleBook configuration

Use default StyleBooks

A set of default StyleBooks is provided along with NetScaler Console. When you use a default StyleBook, you have to specify values for the parameters in the StyleBook and select the IP addresses of the NetScaler instances where you want to run the configuration. After you submit the configuration, NetScaler Console validates the parameter values you have specified, creates a graph of the configuration, connects to the NetScaler instances, and runs the configuration on the instances.

NetScaler features

This table lists the StyleBooks that help you to configure virtual servers for load-balancing, content-switching, and GSLB:

StyleBook Name Description Versions
lb Configure a simple load-balancing virtual server. See, Load Balancing. 1.1, 2.0
lb-mon Configure a load-balancing virtual server with monitors. See, Configure monitors in a load balancing setup. 1.0, 2.0
cs-lb-mon Configure a content-switching virtual server with monitors. For more information, see Content Switching. 1.0, 1.1
lb-mon-full Configure a load-balancing virtual server with monitors on your NetScaler instances. Also, configure the NetScaler features like rewrite, responder, compression, and SSL ciphers. 1.0
cs-lb-mon-full Configure a content-switching virtual server with monitors on your NetScaler instances. Also, configure the NetScaler features like rewrite, responder, and compression. 1.0
gslb Configure one or more NetScaler instances of different sites in the GSLB setup. Before you begin, configure the SNIP IP address on NetScaler instances. This StyleBook uses the SNIP IP address as the site IP address. 1.0
multicloud-glb Configure GLB for NetScaler instances. These instances are deployed as GLB nodes in public clouds and on-premises data centers. You can use this StyleBook to configure GLB nodes in hierarchical deployment. 1.1
