Restore the BMC configuration to factory defaults

You can restore the BMC to its factory-default settings, including deleting the SSL Certificate and SSL key.

Reset the configuration to factory defaults by using the GUI

Navigate to Maintenance > Factory Default.
Click Restore.

Reset the configuration to factory defaults by using the shell

At the shell prompt, type:

ipmitool raw 0x30 0x40

Note:

For MPX 9000 or 16000 platforms, use ipmitool raw 0x30 0x48 0x0 or ipmitool raw 0x30 0x42.
