Fortville NIC firmware upgrade on NetScaler SDX appliances
Upgrade the firmware on NetScaler SDX appliances containing Fortville NICs to remediate https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX263807.
Important: Before upgrading the single bundle image (SBI), first upgrade the VPX instance to one of the following releases:
- Release 11.1 build 65.x and later
- Release 12.1 build 57.x and later
- Release 13.0 build 58.x and later
The firmware and NIC driver are automatically upgraded to version 7.0 when the SDX SBI is upgraded to the following minimum versions. The time taken to complete the upgrade varies by platform. For example, on an SDX 14000 platform with 6 Fortville NICs, the total time to upgrade is around 30 min.
